The devastation of wildfires burning through Los Angeles County has left numerous city's in a peril of fear, and destruction. According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner, 16 people have died due to the fires.
Residents have lost their homes in the Eaton and Pacific Palisades fires, and in Malibu, Altadena and other areas in Los Angeles County. There has also been proof of looting followed by the arrest of several individuals whose identities have not been released to the public, and some mentions of price gouging has occurred which is yet to be proven.
The community continues to see Los Angeles County residents, officials and businesses come together as a whole to help each other during this trying time.
We'd like to give special thanks to our Firefighters, National Guards, President, Vice President, Governor, Mayor, City Council members, Animal Shelters and other officials who have extended their extra time and effort to make sure that residents recover from this tragedy.
In the meantime, the cause of the fires are under arson investigation as well the reason city water hydrants were dry preventing firefighters from battling the flames. Police Authorities have detained a person of interest in thi matter.
